Let me know what you think. We’re planning on going with micro-pave or bead-set milgrain pave on the shank and we are removing the pave from under the baguettes.The claw prongs will be filed down sharper, and we are also adding a Euro shank.
do you want a flush fitting wedding ring?
if yes, have them build up the under-rail on one side only so it can be chopped away just before your wedding
This is the only pic I could fine of the band curving out to be wider...not sure I really like it though. The other way would be to have
metal rails on the side of the baguettes (which I dont think I would like either). The good news is I believe that bead-set will be
stronger than any kind of pave that cuts down into the sides of the shank. Bead-set has solid sides with the cut out areas only being
in the top of the shank metal.
If the shank must match the baguette ends, then Ty333's suggestion of tapering the shank out wider is likely to be your best option without changing the design drastically or adding possible discomfort by increasing the shank depth.
