Hi Everyone,
Ok, to give you a bit of background, we went looking at rings a few months ago. I fell in love with a solitaire in the second store we went into. However, I wasn't loving the band of the ring as I have large fingers (size 7.75) and I felt the thin band was a bit lost on my hand. I brought some pictures of solitaires I liked into my jeweller. I wanted a thick (3mm) knife edge band, with a high 6-prong setting. I did say that I wanted small prongs (the prongs on the original setting were very heavy and were very prominant when viewing the diamond head on). Anyway, I reckon I was the fussiest customer they ever had. So they wrote everything down and took all the photos I had brought in and hey presto......they produced the ring of my dreams!!!!!! I am beyond thrilled with the end result!!!!
Some stats on the diamond:
Carat: 2.2
Cut: H&A
Clarity: VS2
Color: E
The setting is platinum. I am just so in love with it!!!! But nowhere near how much I love the man that will place it on my finger (still waiting for proposal BTW)
