Hello All,

I've been lurking this site for a looong time now and I would've never known how much great information I've gotten off everyone here. The best part was finding Goodoldgold. The whole shopping experience with them has been wonderful. Tim, Christen, Marie and Jonathan were all so helpful and made everything so comfortable which I found to be very important in this purchase. I'm in the military but I was fortunate enough to be able to visit their store in LI while I was on temporary duty back in NY. From the first conversation with Tim to the final selection I made, they were very patient and understanding, I didn't have to think twice about buying through them. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them to anyone, especially if you are in their area. Enough with me blabbing, I'm still working on my 'proposal project' which I'll post in Proposal Ideas. GOG ROCKS!

Hello Ladies and Gents,

Thank you guys soooo much for your compliments and reponses. I''ve been pretty nervous about this whole thing, not really about getting engaged (which I''m really excited about), just about getting everything right. Atleast now I''m pretty sure I''ve got the ring right. Now to concentrate on my proposal. I still need to ask for her parents blessing when I go home on leave over christmas which is another stomach ulcer in itself. You ladies have got it easy, all you need to do is say yes, and put up with a lifetime of male ego. =P

Thanks so much again! You people are awesome! And regarding serving this country, there really isn''t a need to thank me, I love my job! The worst part is being away from her pretty face.
