Very nice ring you purchased from ERD. I would recommend Mark to anyone.

Oh dear, there was no link attached to my post: http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=70

That looks like a halo without being in your face. I''m not a huge fan of the actual halo halo.
totally, however, I''m looking at an even smaller/ thinner halo. Sort of like this one: http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=447

I keep telling Mark he has to put up some pictures so that I stop referencing Leon''s work.

Thanks! That''s too bad about the loss. Well, at least you have Mark to recommend one for you!

FF and I are designing the setting together. We went today but we aren''t quite sure what we are going to do yet. We have a CAD in the process but...we could be making changes. I have been dead set on a halo forever but FF isn''t that crazy about it. I''m trying to make it small enough that it gives off a little sparkle around the edge but is barley there. However, seeing the ''fake setting'' on my hand today I started to really like the simple look. The thing is, I''m not a simple girl so that look really isn''t me. However, I want the stone to be the focus and I''m not a huge fan of baguetts. So...I guess we will have to see. Worse comes to worse we''ll put it in a temp setting.
What a gorgeous stone. I feel the same way about settings as you do, so I cannot wait to see what you decide. My EC popped out of the setting yesterday, so now I am really ready to get it a permanent home.

Darling...good thing you didn''t loose that stone! Actually your "temp" setting was one of the ones that got me thinking about setting it as a solitare. I''ll let you know once I get the CAD what I decide to do.

I figured I''d attach an update. Well FF and I decided not to go custom at all. We are going to go with the Tacori setting below. Oh, in one of my previous links I mentioned that Tacori goes on holiday for a few weeks which would make my ring not complete for about 8 weeks. Well, I decided to ask Tacori so I sent an email and no joke they responed within minutes saying that they only take a half day for the 4th. Shows me that I shouldn''t listen to the sales lady at Michael C. Fina! Well, its all up to my SO at this point. As soon as the order is placed it should be done in 4 - 6 weeks.

The halo looks really big in that picture but trust me, its not. Its so delicate its almost not noticible.

I think your stone is going to be a real knock out in the Tacori. Their settings are very delicate and finely made. A beautiful stone for a beautiful ring
