Hi Everyone!

I''ve been a lurker here since last summer, when my fiance and I started looking for my engagement ring. Since then, I''ve been addicted to this site even after getting my dream ring. I''ve learned so much from all the expert consumers on this forum, that I thought I''d finally make my first post and show you guys what I ended up with.

The specs:
1.56 carat
E color
SI1 clarity
HCA Score: 0.9 (Fiery Ideal Cut)

The first 3 pics were taken by my co-worker with his fancy camera (he''s a photographer).

Just realized that I forgot to add that the diamond's cert is from GIA. We bought it from a locally-owned jewelry store here, but I happened to find the diamond in Whiteflash's virtual inventory (as well as a few other PS vendors) for a lower price. What a shock, right?

So I asked my saleslady what they could do, and she came back saying that the owner had agreed to sell us the diamond for the same price as what Whiteflash had it listed as! We saved close to $3500 just because I was obsessed with looking at diamonds online.

And yes, I am totally over the moon with this ring. I know I stare at it far too often. Funny thing is that my fiance will grab my hand every once in a while to look at the ring, and keeps saying "Wow, it looks like it's getting bigger every time I see it!". Haha, I love it! I think it's the perfect size for my finger and my current tastes.

Congrats on the good deal too. . .The other day I kind of played around with a local B&M and to see if they''d match WF''s price and rather than doing that, they found a lower grade/clarity diamond which was the same price as the WF one. lol

When we first started looking, I was very focused on finding a setting that would allow a flush-fit with the wedding band. I originally wanted a set from Precision Set before we found this one. The band is 2mm and the head is pretty high, which I wasn''t so sure would be ''safe'' since I tend to be pretty clumsy and knock my hands around on all sorts of stuff. But after getting used to wearing it, I''ve found that I naturally tend to protect my left hand more now.

Oh, and I was following your multiple reset threads before I even joined PS. Now I can finally tell you how gorgeous your diamond is, and actually, how lovely all 3 of your last resets were! And congrats on getting to name "Grace"...that''s awesome!
