Bad news, ooo-Shiney, this is sounding a bit like gemaholicism:

- you check the mailbox often and have mood swings depending on whether there are packages;

- you promise yourself you'll buy "only one" but, well, you know...

- you go to the pet store to buy black light to admire your gem fluorescence... :o ;-)

If that's the case...

Hello. My name is Davi and I'm a gemaholic

I also check to the tracking numbers a few times a day to see if there's an update.

You can find flashlight UV lights for super cheap (like $5) all over ebay. Just make sure you buy it from a "top rated" seller.

Well I did some reading on UV last night and this is what I am understanding...

What is the best long wave and short wave length to search for when looking for a uv light/laser? 395 or 375nm for long wave? Short wave? Doesn't the different wavelengths react very differently for some stones even from 375 to 395? And some wavelengths you need to wear eye protection... 395nm is near visible light of 400nm and may appear a little purple and much brighter to the eye then 375nm, correct? Near visible UV light takes a lots less energy to produce the same amount of light than when you shorten the wavelength in less nm amounts.

So I am not sure a cheap ebay or amazon light will always be the best choice?
