Photoshop pros- your help please!

Hi all,

It seems vendors are not particularly enthusiastic about doing a baguette halo for my pear. So I''m trying to envision some other alternatives such as a french cut or more of a square baguette which might (?) be easier to work with and be prone to less breakage. Could someone pretty please photoshop some steep cuts into this pink diamond halo so I can see how they look? I do want a halo but something a bit more retro looking than rounds.
