Hi all,

Could one of you photoshop phenoms make the band on this ring a plain band as opposed to the fancy one it has now? Trying to decide on a new setting. Thank you so much!!

Here''s my current set. Any thoughts? I just bought a new wedding band that is more vintage looking, I should have it in about 5 weeks.

I love the setting I posted above. The flat prongs as opposed to the goose neck and I loved the milgrained, bezeled traps.

Hey...love your set as is...Can you tell us about your eternity band? Is it vintage? What are the cuts? It''s lovely.

Wow, you have sharp eyes! I didn''t even notice those details on the engraved ring in the first pic. I think those would be very subtle changes. Don''t know if it would be worth it really. I like your set the way it is.

Thanks surfgirl! My current eternity band is a 1 ct asscher cut band in platinum. The band I just ordered is a gorgeous vintage repro from 23rd street jewelers in Santa Monica. Little french cut diamonds. As soon as I receive it, I''ll post some pics. I wear a plain, platinum band from Cartier with my engagement ring now.

I think with my reset, I''m just looking for a little more vintage feel. I also feel that the traps are slighty out of proportion with my asscher. They are a little to wide.

I haven''t posted here for awhile but surfgirl, I LOVE your vintage ring and I followed your story. So glad you got it!

Hi butterbean,

"Bumping" is when someone responds to a post in order to push it to the top of the forum again. HTH! (Hope This Helps!)

bumping... anyone with some skills to help a gal out?

Would GREATLY appreciate it :)

Try taking a picture of the ring when it is in the same position of rings that are listed for sale online (i.e. go to google images and type "ring"). This way, one can get the perspective correct. Here you go....................

Is that asscher from singelstone? I think I have pictures of it from before it was engraved (from the old website).

ETA: Grr, I can't find it! I remember it pretty clearly, but that doesn't help you!

good eye!! it is from single stone. I would love to have my asscher reset like this. After mr. young did the photoshop for me, I''m thinking that I prefer the engraved band. good thing is - you can get the band ungraved and wear it for a while and then if you decide to have it engraved, they''ll do it for me.

It''s pretty either way. Thanks for looking for me!!! very nice of you!! :)

Oops. Dry contact lenses. That last one''s a bit clunky. I made the band just a hair''s breadth finer and rounder on this one ...
