So I've had my eye on the Tacori 2620 for awhile and saw several great photos of members and their handshots but could not find photos of the 2523 for the life of me, other than the stock ones. So, I went to try them on and snapped a few photos. Please excuse the condition of my hands and nails, the Canadian winter is not very forgiving.
What I love about the 2523 is the profile view. I am absolutely in love with it. But the top view was a letdown. It actually looks preety good in the photos but was so dissapointing in real life. The pavéd halo and shank seems "dark" and literally sucks the life and sparkle out of the center diamond. It made me so sad. Everytime i would put it down on the counter after eliminating it as a possibility, I would see that profile and reconsider. The 2620 on the other hand was beautiful. I also took a few snapshots of the 2638 with plain shank for good measure
These are the models that accomodate an approx. 2 carat center diamond. The 2523 in platinum was a little over $7000 and the 2620 slightly over $5000. I forgot to ask about the 2638 because I was not as interested in that one but I think it's somewhere between 2-3K. I thought I'd share them on this forum for other who also love Tacori rings. Sorry for the awful quality photos, I was trying to be quick as to not annoy the very sweet saleswoman who let me snap away..
