I would love to see pictures of a 2 carat round with halo ering on a size 4 finger. The gal at the jewlery store said I was actually a size 3.5 but that she would go with a 4??? Not sure why that is.

Please post pics!

Thank you all!

That''s gonna be a really top heavy ring to make a half size too big. Wonder what her reasoning is?

Sorry I don''t have any pics, but that''s gonna be one heck of a finger-covering ring!

I wouldn''t go with a half size up. I have huge fingers (sz 7.5) and that''s what I ordered. I have a round in a halo but I won''t post pics since I''m double your finger size

lol.

I wouldn''t either. You should get the size your finger is measured at.

ams'' e-ring is one of my favourite halos. It''s a 1.51 and her ring size is 4 1/2 (hope you don''t mind me posting this ams!)

A 2ct halo on a 3.5 is going to be major finger coverage!!!

My finger size is a 3.5, but my ring is a 4.5 b/c of my knuckle.
The center is 2.44.
IMO 2 carat would be better. I think mine is a little too big.

I wear a 3 1/2 too and had a ring made in a 3.75 and it would spin and drove me nuts. I would not recommend going to a 4.

Just remember that if you plan to wear a wedding band, the two together will make the 2 rings fit better. So I probably would go up 1/4 size. My rings are actually a 1/4 size larger than I really need, and I like it that way because I hate snug rings especially in hot weather.

Yah me too. I think 1/4 size is enough--I have mine sized up 1/4 and it''s perfect for those hot days, post exercise, or when I''ve eaten too many chips!

I wear 2, but got the measured size. While they may be a hair snug (not anymore than that) in the summer, they are sometimes loose enough to "clink" in the winter. I personally wouldn''t want them any looser. And I have thicker bands too...

This makes sense especially if you live where it gets pretty cold--no wonder I don''t have that cold loose clink! I''m in LA!

Thanks Atroop and tah10!
It is from the
Michael B. Trois Collection.
IMO it is just on the cusp of being too big b/c I have small hands. I really love it, but I think a 2ct.halo would have been perfect, but that's just me.
I really like halos though, and I think this one is just perfect. I love the double decker halo - the profile is one of my favorite parts.

Thanks iluvcarats!

I am meeting with the jewler today... I am so nervous! I feel like such a control freak picking out my own ering but I know the BF would recruit his recently married/engaged buddies to help and I''m not really a fan of what they gave their fiances. After lurking on here quite a bit I feel a little bit better, seems like a lot of gals pick their rings out!

I really love double decker halo! I''m trying to accumulate some photos to take with me to show her what I like/dislike. Thanks for the pic''s!

Yes, it gets veddy cold here. If I was a guy, I could be Colonel Klink.
