According to one source 940mm x 940mm x 2260 is a common phone booth size
A solid diamond to fill that space would be: ~17,583,021cts
In 2007 aprox 168.2million or 168200000 cts of rough were produced.
So in 2007 there were aprox 9.6 phone booths of gem quality diamonds produced if they were all crunched together into 10 solid masses with no air space in each.

Not to seguay, but seriously when is the last time you saw an actual phone booth?? We don't have any near us. They used to be on every corner..

Do you mean a payphone? There are actually a couple of outdoor phones with old-school receivers still standing in my town. An actual booth...I might have seen something like that in movies, or when I was 5--15.

not really they are also wifi hotspots where you can pay to use the net.
They do use celular networks instead of wired phones so they can be put anywhere.
