Peridot is my birthstone and I LOVE the apple green colour of this one.

I am thinking about a 14 k YG textured (matte) bezel pendant. I don''t know why but i just have a feeling that the yellow gold will bring the green out more.

Peridot is too soft for an every day wear ring, so that''s why i''ve chosen to make it into a pendant.

That is a gorgeous stone! I also just purchased a stone (rhodolite garnet) from John. He had so many beauties to pick from. And I''m usually a fan of the reds/pinks/purples but that green is stunning!! I think I may have to start expanding my color scheme.

I also meant to include that the green color reminds me of the yummy apple martinis my hubby makes which I always think are so pretty that it''s a shame to drink them...but then I get over it and drink it.
