Pendant question.

I want to design a pendant setting - ideally I''d like something that can hang from a gold chain - but could equally hang from a string of beads.

Are there sliders or something that would allow the pendant to hang close to the beads?

I don''t want to break the beads up, so the setting has to be able to slide over them - beads are about 7mm diameter.

Budget isn''t huge so I''d like to get a stock one, rather than have one made.

Maybe an "enhancer" would work for you. They are designed to open and then close over a strand of beads. Here is one from Stuller.
