Pendant Project - Is this a good solitaire?

Hi,

I would like to have a diamond solitaire pendant made from Whiteflash or Brian Gavin, and was recommended this stone below:

It's above my budget, but I would be interested in purchasing if it's a great stone.

1. I would like to have a halo surround the stone - do you think at almost 2 carats, this stone would be too big to wear for every day? I currently wear a 2.5 carat e ring on my left hand, 5 stone 2 carat ring on my right hand, and 2 carat stud earrings for my everyday jewellery. Would this necklace be overkill?
2. Given the weight of the stone, should I anticipate any problems with the necklace flipping?
3. Stone is I in colour - is that going too low in the colour scheme? Willing to sacrifice a bit in colour and clarity to get a bigger stone, but I initially didn't want to go below G in colour
4. Any other anticipated problems with this stone?

Any advice received would be great.

As far as size goes, I think it’s all personal preference. I have a 1.3 in a halo necklace and much prefer my .25 as I just prefer a dainty look for my necklaces. There’s no right or wrong. I have no flipping issues with my 1.3.

Overkill on PS? Nah! Not sure you would need to halo the pendant, but honestly it’s personal preference. I’m in healthcare and work in low income communities so I could not wear something like that everyday, HOWEVER, with your other great sized jewels I think that pendant would be a phenomenal size.

Generally people say only good thing about the WF ACA and ES.. I know less about the PS stones but I’m sure people would speak just as well about these. They are still hand picked by WF and they seem to have high standards. I’d be great with it for a necklace (well really for anything!)

Yes, you can definitely do that. Either have them ship to DK if they will or have DK send you a insured Fedex label
