So I'm thinking of setting my OMC in a pendant but I'm torn about the style. The stone is very warm but I want the pendant set in white gold. I'm using my previous ring settings as inspirations. So here are my choices.
6 prong Solitaire or halo or 4 thick prong. Here are the pictures.

Definitely halo for blintastic coverage  :naughty: I would have a solitaire pendent but I would need like a 3-4ct one for me to appreciate it on my neck... but of course my pocket is way too shallow for that!! :(sad So my vote is to halo it!!

I think the question is - which would you wear more?

I think a halo would be pretty, and nice coverage.

Hi. I plan to wear my new pendant as an everyday bc I think these styles are all pretty simple. I'm just looking for opinions regarding which setting will make the diamond look best.

Halo, definitely. I personally would do this design by Caysie van Bebber as a pendant (I have seen it done in earrings, too):

Another vote for going with a Halo! :wavey:

A neck is bigger than a finger, so I vote for a halo too, for better coverage and more bling!

Since you want to wear it every day, I vote for the four-prong, but not thick prongs (not sure why you'd want thick prongs?). It's a pendant, so it should be safe. (My pendant has four prongs, so I'm biased.)

I vote for a halo! A halo gives a pendant a great presence. In fact, I am currently having a halo pendant made. Jewels by Grace is setting my 5.8mm OEC into an antique style halo that similar to these earrings.
