Pearls left by my grandmother

Hi! My grandmother left us a strand of necklace and a pair of earrings. I just want to know if these pearls are genuine and what type? The pearls in the necklace measures around 8.5mm while the earrings is around 12.5mm.

I have my guess with the type of pearl but I’m no expert. Please help me identify these and if they are good quality or valuable.

it will feel gritty if its real
if it is real you will feel it and know what i mean instantly
it is encouraging if you see fishbites as faux ones will look and feel perfect

but if they arnt real please still love and wear them as they were your grandma's
her pearls are an awsome size

just think of all the places grandma wore her pearls
you must put them on and take them out to lunch with your sister or best girl friend
