Pear Halo ring setting

Hi! I''m new to the board so I would really appreciate any help out there.

I am looking to upgrade my emerald cut diamond ring to a pear halo setting. I really love the style of Katherine Heigel''s. I went to a jeweler to look at some diamonds and the settings they showed me weren''t exactly what I was looking for. I told them I''d check around online and they would sketch a couple things. I''m trying to stay away from them making anything custom for me because of price.

So, here are my questions:

1. Do you know where I can find a setting that my jeweler can order that is what I''m looking for?

and,

2. What size pear stone do you think looks best with a halo setting? I don''t want to go too small and later regret it.

I appreciate any info and opinions you have!!

They say sold has complete ring only so I dont know if that means you send them your stone and they

Katherine Heigl''s pear diamond is mounted in the Ritani "Endless Love" halo mounting. Any reputable jeweler can order Ritani for you, and in the meantime, get a catalogue for you to look through.
