I know pave rings are very popular right now. So for all those who own one, how often do you wear your ring?

My wedding ring is all pave and I wear it everyday...

I take it off for showering and dishes and yard work. Otherwise, I wear it all of the time.

I take it off when I shower and it goes in the cleaner otherwise it''s on my hand.

I take mine off to sleep, lift weights, swim, clean house, but otherwise I probably have it on.

I own a LOT of pave'' jewelry and I''ve only lost one stone out of one piece doing dishes on Christmas day about five years ago.
Everything else has stayed put. Then again, I usually take all of my rings off when I''m doing anything with my hands. I just forgot, but I think if a stone is going to pop, it''s going to pop no matter what you''re doing. Even slipping your hand inside your purse to pull out your wallet can nudge a loose stone enough for it to come out. I think it''s the workmanship that counts the most.

I take mine off as soon as I get home from work. I don''t like to wash my hands with my rings on and my fingers swell while I sleep, so my daily routine is to head upstairs, take off all my jewelry and then change into my comfy clothes.

I wear mine every time I leave the house so I voted occasionally. I really hate wearing jewelry around the house for some reason! (I also really hate wearing regular clothes and shoes around the house and I guess that extends to jewelry!)

However, I''m certainly not gentle with my ring when I''m wearing it. One thing that helps is that it''s only 3/4 eternity, so the entire part on the bottom of my hand is plain metal.

Ditto . . . I usually take my jewelry off shortly after I get home. I do wear my rings every day, though. There are three pave stones on either side of my e-ring, but my w-band is a pave eternity band so it has pave the whole way around. I even wear my rings to the barn (I''m a horse owner/riding instructor). I''ve been married for almost three years and haven''t lost a stone yet . . . knock on wood!

I only take mine off for bed and when I''m cleaning, cooking, gardening, working out. But I have always taken off all my jewelry for those things...watch, other rings, etc. It''s nothing different with my ering.

I don''t wear any jewellery at home at all.

I take mine off when I am doing dishes or yard work, or showering...otherwise I wear my set constantly. My center stone came loose twice.

I''ve realized I''m LOTS more likely to lose a ring if I take them off, and being a talented loser of stuff, that''s a bigger worry to me than damage to pave. Therefore I do just about everything with my rings on. I always realize about mid way through cleaning the catbox or something that I''m doing it with both rings on

I take mine off to shower, sleep, work out, do dishes, and usually when I cook. I LOVE to wear it when I''m studying at home b/c it gives me a mini distraction, plus it keeps me happy (reminds me how much my FI loves me) while I''m trying to push through my bar exam material, which can be grueling.

mine''s off most of the time b/c I''ve got 3 kids and spend most of my time at the playground or pool. I don''t wear it at home either b/c I''m doing housework or changing diapers. I hope to get a pave wedding band though soon and plan on wearing that pretty much 24/7.

Almost all my rings are pave and I wear it everyday.

I have a 3-sided pave right hand ring that I wear out of the house, but take off when I get home. Conversely, I wear my Asscher solitaire nearly 24/7.

I only wear my rings when I''m at work or out with friends or my husband etc...
When I get home I like to be comfortable just like some of the ladies that have responded, so the rings come off at the end of the day and usually end up in my ring cleaner...I''m a little obsessed with keeping my rings clean ; )

My e-ring and wedding band are pave. I wear them all of the time, except while in the shower or doing dishes. (Actually, i did NOT wear it while renovating my house... I did a lot of painting, sanding, etc... and I didn''t want to mess it up.)

take it off when showering, putting on lotion, and to clean it, otherwise, it''s on all the time.

Lovely set!

I wore my ring in its previous setting 24/7. My new ring sits in it''s place at home, and only gets worn out. It''s set pretty high up, has pave and is platinum so I''m concerned about dings and knocking it about. I''ve already had one repair to it and don''t want another anytime soon.

i voted most of the time - when i had a solitaire with a plain band i wore them 24/7. when i reset to a halo with a pave band i began taking them off for bed, shower, dishes, housework & cooking (sometimes) and gardening. it is more to think about and i do miss the ease of solitaire-ity (

) but overall i still find the look is worth it.

I voted most of the time. I pretty much wear my rings all the time, except when I shower, wash dishes, and workout. I wear my rings to the gym, but will take them off to exercise. I''ve knocked my Ritani on the metal bars of the treadmill one too many times! Thankfully that ring is a strong little bugger and to-date, has not incurred any damage.

With the Michael B set, I am definitely more cautious. I have already lost one pave stone (and gasp, it happened in the ultrasonic cleaner). I am still within my one year warranty period though, so the next time I''m visiting family in CA, I''m going to drop off the set to get fixed.

With that being said, I do wear my rings to sleep. It''s just habit. I used to be a consultant, and traveled all the time. Spending more time in hotel rooms than in my own bed, I learned to keep my jewelry on ALL the time. I''ve heard one too many horror stories of colleagues leaving their rings by the side of the bed or by the sink, only to remember later when it was too late.

Thanks Harriet!

I LOVE both of your rings as well!
