Paraiba setting help

Hi, I have a few settings in mind for the 5.2 mm paraiba from @Desertrose. Can you give me an opinion of what setting looks best? They’re all 18k. I’m open to anything else in the budget of $1500.

I think I would go with the daisy ring out of the ones you posted. The other settings look like the halo might be rather small, so they didn't particularly strike my fancy.

If I were to set it, I'd want to put it into this design Yvonne made of a design I had sketched. She says it's called the "snowflower" because the five-rounded-petal look was inspired by 梅花* and a ruby that Inken had. The CAD that was developed features:

1x 5mm round
5x 1.8mm round
10x 1.2mm round

I believe the CAD was for a pendant, but I'm sure they could modify it into a ring if you like it.

Just because the design was done with a red flower in mind, doesn't mean you can't use the layout for a nice neon paraiba.

Haha, I'm still paying off my introductory 0% APR credit card and Paypal Credit balances, plus I need to figure out what I owe IRS, so I doubt anytime soon. But now that you mention it, I do have a 6.2mm concave cut Mahenge spinel, that I would consider using in this style design. But, if given the choice, I would probably prioritize setting my loose paraibas over setting the spinel.

If Yvonne lists a 5mm vivid red round gem, then I will be in trouble. Please don't let this happen, Lord, because I'm still paying off my debts.

So, I found a round paraiba around the same size set in a really neat setting on instagram, hopefully the link works!

I really like the ring setting in your first post. Nice hand presence and a pretty design. Your paraiba is beautiful.

The Halo is so pretty. I've found rounds can look really nice in a cushion halo too, especially if it's all diamonds surrounding.
