Paraiba Dealer

Has anybody on this forum ever heard of Paraiba.com ? Not Paraiba International of whom is one of the reputable listed vendors on this forum. I stumbled onto the article about them that I will link to. I was intrigued, but know many informative PSers might be able to shed some light onto this business I am not familiar with. Anyone ?

I believe they were one of the original purveyors of Brazilian paraibas and part of the dispute over cuprians from other areas being called paraiba in the trade (a position many agree with). This looks like an old article with a shared header showing today's date.

Not typically knowledgeable but my first real interest in colored stones came from seeing paraibas at a show. The vendor had a lot of articles about the dispute over the paraiba name. I just had a chance to get on my PC and googled paraiba.com and my recollection was correct. http://www.jckonline.com/2016/02/19/paraibacom-threatens-sue-agta-and-others-120-million

Also a closer look at the article shows that it is dated December 20, 2006. Your post peaked my interest as I am always interested in finding paraiba vendors

Thank you lilmosun. I'll definitely take a look at your link. Seeking to learn as much as I can about these beauties and like you I am always looking for more vendors. Reputable ones of course
