I looked at a cushion that seemed to be beautiful, but everything I read seems to tell me it''s not that hot- my concern is the depth; 71.6%. Thin to thick girdle, no culet, 2.01 vv22, H. "Crown angles are greater than 40%"; $10,500. Is my eye simply not up toi the task, or is this a good deal? Or what? I''m new to this, and it''s very difficult.

Firstly, I'll admit I know very little about cushion cut parameters. However, if no one else has an answer, I'll just throw out something for you to think about:

Even with more popular fancies, such as princesses, the dealers agree that the numbers cannot guarantee a great cut--only your eyes can do that. So, I don't see why you may be getting a cushion you love regardless of what the specs may be.
