is anyone familiar with it? i did a search on PS but didn''t get any results. a local b&m is selling some... looks nice but it''s the first i''ve heard of it.

It is a pretty stone but it is treated. The color could fade or chip over time.

Almost all topaz are treated, some heated, nuked or coated. It appears that the PF Topaz you are asking about is coated with a thin layer of film that if the stone is damaged, the colour is permanently removed.

interesting. thanks guys. it looks very pretty but probably wouldn''t be good for a ring. maybe a pendant would be nice.
