    You can look here for cut grade information, but fancy shapes really have to be seen to know how well they are cut:

    Since BlueNile has a 30 day return policy, you have ample opportunity to take or send the diamond to an independent appraiser. You may want to send or see if BlueNile will send the stone directly to David Atlas, the man who created the fancy cut grades referenced above. www.gemappraisers.com
