Oval Pink Sapphire and Diamond Halo Ring

Hello,

I'm new here and have been inspired to join to show off some of my things, having seen the pleasure others get from sharing. I don't want to give too much away about myself, for security reasons, but I'm originally from Miami.

I inherited this ring, and I'm proud of some of the flower shots I've just taken with my old point-and-shoot, and zero photography knowledge. The ring is a 1.1 carat pink sapphire, surrounded by diamonds of eight points each (so one diamond-carat total) set in 18k yellow and white gold.

The diamonds really, really sparkle but sadly the photos don't show it.

Edit: Forgot to say, the appraiser said the diamonds are G color, when I had it valued.
