Oval help please!!!

I put a deposit on an oval yesterday. I have been having a hard time finding a 2.25 ct weight. It''s not perfect because of depth but very pretty-eye clean. Do not have all the stats but these are the stat''s I remember

2.23 SI1 I color
60% table
10.71 x 7.71 x 4.31(?)
1.38 ratio
55.9 depth- my concern area and the effect it will have on the diamond
Polish and symmetry-very good
GIA cert

price $12,000.00

hi, i was originally interested in ovals as well and had some answers from people on this forum. if u do a search on my nick u can actually see my question thread on ovals.

if u have the stats of the oval, go to GemAppraisers and use their diy cut grading. it is really helpful (if u havent done so yet) and should be able to tell u more from the 'aga cut grade chart'. u could also read pricescope's info on
fancy shape diamonds.

I have done a lot of homework but not sure how significant the shallow depth will make to stone? Please advise. Am I paying too much??
