By the way... Since this diamond is on so many websites (I found it on two others that makes it 5) does that mean that most jewelers would have access to it? I was planning to make a trip to NYC and wonder if the jeweler im working with would have access tonit

'No to this:

Girdle reflection clearly visible on very slight tilt - characteristic of overly-shallow stones. Search “fish eye” for more information.
Also, given that you were concerned about that black crystal in the VS2 from earlier... I would be as concerned - if not more - about the visibility of the inclusions in this SI1.
Hi @atiaofthejulii,
Quick question for you if you don't mind, what ratio are you targeting exactly...?
Ok.....Here are my thoughts, the 6ct from August Vintage is a 1.38:1 ratio, right at your target zone and has optics that eliminate any change of a bowtie, which also eliminates light leakage plus color absorption and it's within budget. You would trade a vaguely more round oval over all of those qualities?
Call me stubborn but due to my budget I'm not looking for anything lower then an F at this point.
