FI: e-weddingbands, palladium 6mm, size 10.
MINE: wedding ring hotline semicustom, plat 1.5mm, size 4 (a quarter-size bigger than my e-ring, I read here about leaving some breathing room, and it''s a good idea - they really do fit tighter together).

We bought the regular half-dome 2mm band and had WRH shave it down to 1.5. It''s 1.5mm wide and 1.5mm thick, and surprisingly hefty for such a dainty little thing. I was worried that the shaving down would make it look more pipe-cut than round, but it turned out perfectly

emilina22 - When I decided a three-stone was my dream ring, I thought I was going to be wearing it sans w-ring so I wanted something that could hold its own. Then just months ago I changed my mind, and wanted to wear a separate wedding ring afterall (I blame that plain bands thread - at least in part

). I went through a *number* of silver rings to find a width that I really loved..

waterlilly - I'm already wearing them round the house together when noone else is home. shhh.

tulips - it's strange, I posted that and I thought how gigantic it looked. Not sure how that works, if only it looked like that IRL!!

MissGotRocks - Thank you! The trellis does cause a small gap - you can see it in the sideshot, that's really the full extent of it. I'd estimate 1mm space, maybe a bit more? The trellis hugs the pavilion very closely, so it's definitely a smaller gap than it would've been on my old setting, and it's so small I don't see it unless I'm looking for it from inches away

ZoeBartlett - Thankies! I'm keeping one of the wider (3mm) silver bands for hiking/dishwashing/horseriding purposes.

exoticisabella - I've spent a fair amount of time drooling over your gorgeous RC set, I must say

! I debated between curved and straight bands for a really long time. I think if I'd gone with a thicker wedding band I'd have gone curved too - I'm really not a gap fan.
