Our new ring

So we just had this ring custom built by Quest Fine Jewelers out of Virginia.

The specs: Platinum setting with 0.81ct grade F/G brilliant cut sidestones.
Center stone - Cushion cut 1.11ct, color grade E, clarity grade VVS2.

These are the pictures the jeweler sent us, more to come. We were inspired by many of the gorgeous rings and thoughtful opinions discovered on this site! You guys rock!!!

Quest set my engagement ring and they also did a custom setting for an amethyst ring for me.

I think it came out beautifully. Can you tell me how many points the stones are in your halo? I'm still trying to figure out what mine should be. I don't want mine to be tiny either. I love nice sized, noticable diamonds .

That is gorgeous!! Is that a Coast Diamond setting?? It looks like my setting from Coast. I love the low profile of it. I also LOVE the size of the diamonds around the halo; that's what sold me on my setting. Enjoy it!!

So, we got the ring via FedEx yesterday, but...the jewellers in Virginia forgot to size it!!!! It was a big disappointment. We called them and they emailed us a return label, overnighting it back. They sized it today and are overnighting it back. Hopefully we will have it by Christmas. I guess that's the risk you take buying jewellery long distance.

Your ring is gorgeous-both the main stone and halo setting. I hope you have it back by now and properly sized. I'm also interested in getting a custom setting made by Quest and would like more info about your experience with them. I haven't been able to figure out how to send you a private message since Pricescope updated its website.

Question for Long-Time Members -- is it still possible to send private messages or do I need to give Tuckerbel my personal email address? Please let me know what my options are and/or how to go about it. Thanks!

The only thing I would suggest is that maybe you contact the administrators - don't know if they would or could help you but that would be the only avenue I know of to contact other members.

However, your new ring is just gorgeous - and we definitely need some hand shots!!
