after hours of research and taking time to see diamonds in person, i finally had to make a quick decision (by phone!) when diamond prices continued to rise. i did get to see the stone before we purchased so that was a plus, but it was in really crappy lighting so i never go to see much fire or sparkle. and as time went by they all were the same in my memory. but, alas, here she is, and she is being dropped off at the jewelers this weekend to be set in what will be a custom setting! i have to learn to take good pictures of diamonds because i am obviously not very good at it but hopefully these will be okay
