Orange is such a vibrant and lovely color. Great collection of orange stones.

I bought this opal in October after my niece was born but I haven''t had it set you. It is a beautiful orange color. Came from Michael E.

All of them are gorgeous. Y2kitty, yours has such an interesting setting. Sleepy spinel, would you mind telling me the origin of the round one? Looks flaming orange!
-TL, I remember your photograph and your comments about Tanzanian spesss. Keep it in mind!
Lauren, yours, as usual, is resplendent!

Crasru, your spess pendants belong in here! Your new one just is a stunning inspiration!

TL, Y2kitty, Zeolite, Sleepyspinel - thank you so much for adding to the collection! Gorgeous examples of orange, and y2kitty, I think we should start a stone+matching fruit thread! LOL

I purchased these native cut pair of spessartites inexpensively to make earring charms. They aren''t pure orange but I''m not fussed about it.

It seems that the orange is "jumping" out of the setting. Like it''s on fire.

Here are my reds / orange rings.

Back row: Spessartite, garnet, multi colored garnet
Front row: garnet, ruby, orange sapphire

Sorry for the late reply Crasru... the vendor told me it was from Nigeria, but it kind of has that Namibian look so who really knows! Thanks for looking :)

Oh do tell!!!

A pair of rounds and a pair of ovals are coming my way. They're both from Loliondo. I'm crossing my fingers that they match my ring stone.

Lauren,
I know the thread is about orange, but the pad in the middle is killer!!!!

BE sapphire. Not usually a fan of treated rocks, but this orange bad boy can carry its own!

such juicy orangey fiery goodness!!!

WOW I do really like all the orange stones. What do those of you that own Spess think of the Mexican Fire Opals?

Here''s my contribution... Spess 2.03 ct cut by Barry Bridgestock Sparkles ALOT and is more orange in person.
