ok ive mentioned i wanted to look into custom making my gf her engagement ring, but the other day, we went in to a jeweler i know, and we looked at a couple daniel K, and tacori settings. SHE LOVED THE DANIEL K SPLIT SETTING Uy''all posted and it might be the one im going to go with
but
i want to know if you guys think that getting a designer name ring is worth the money?

It's a unique and stunning setting. The quality is impeccible, the look is refined and delicate. Why re-invent the wheel? She loves it. She wants it. And if you can afford to get it for her, I would. A similar setting will run you around 4000-5000 or more (Taffin would charge 10K) by a designer who can match that quality level... and it still would only be a copy.
