Opinions versus 2 diamonds

Hello,

I am hoping to get some opinions on 2 diamonds I am considering.

The first Diamond is a 1.01 Carat, VS1, E Grade, XXX. No fluro. Picture attached. The hearts/arrows are almost perfect. The diamond seems a bit miscoloured, the vendor is saying it is due to the lighting, and the diamond is not milky. Any comments from anyone? I am unable to see the diamond unless I put down a deposit.






The second Diamond is a 1.23 Cara, VS1, E Grade, XXX. No fluro. Picture below. The hearts/arrows are a bit out of line but it is a lot more clear/shiny. There seems to be reflections of black which according to the vendor is due to the black camera which took the photo. Has anyone got some advice in this matter.




The second diamond is more expensive than the first by $3000 AUD.

In terms of which Diamond is better, what one is preferable.

Just going by the numbers, diamond #2 looks like it has better proportions. If I had to pick just on numbers, I'd choose #2. But you know from reading PS that numbers do not tell you everything!

Is the deposit refundable? If it is, no harm in having it brought in to view.

You can also search for the GIA number on google and see if any other vendors have it with IS or ASET images.
