I really like it. The setting is so beautiful.

Thanks for the comments. I''m more comfortable with the ring... I had just one night of buyer''s remorse. I think that the piece is somehow timeless. There''s a classic look to it and then''s something about it that moves it forward, as well. It is not a typical looking ring, but that''s what attracted me to it.

The jeweler only takes returns for store credit. I think I''ll stick with it as long as she likes it. The jeweler was recommended to me buy a colleague who''s been shopping there for decades since he first bought his wife an engagement ring. The store owners treated me very nicely after I mentioned his name.

I agree, it is classic and timeless. I think it''s really beautiful. I hope she likes it!

I love it. It is modern yet evokes the feeling of the 1920''s. It certainly isn''t likely that any of her friends will have anything similar. Girls always hate when that happens.

I think that you picked out a gorgeous ring that she is sure to love...good luck with your proposal!

Hi there! That is one beautiful ring you have there. It IS timeless and classic, and VERY delicate and feminine in the details... I''m sure she will love it. And your right, it really holds it''s own from any angle!

I think the ring is just lovely, and don''t fret the fact that they didn''t have the matching band. Knife edge bands are easy to come by (especially around here

) in both the plain version and the pave'' version. I hope she loves it! It''s really romantic and pretty.

When are you proposing? Did I miss that tidbit?

I think it is beautiful, too! I do agree with telling her that it can be exchanged if she''d like another style better. Just don''t get upset if she does!

I really like it. The setting is gorgeous and so are the sapphires.

Ditto! It''s lovely!

Ooh! It''s gorgeous! The style is just right up my ally (Simon G rocks!).

But it''s one of those rings that you either love it at first sight or you think it''s too busy. I hope she belongs to the first category.
