HI all

I, like most it seems, discovered this wonderful site whilst looking for a diamond for a ring. I looked at the obvious places (ninas jewellry, solid gold) and couldn't find what i wanted. I have now found this diamond
http://www.jogiadiamonds.com.au/diamonds/diamonditem.php?code=J5851733

Measurements: 5.75 - 5.77 x 3.59 mm
Carat Weight: 0.73 carat
Color Grade: G
Clarity Grade: VS2
Cut Grade: Excellent

Proportions:
Depth: 62.3%
Table: 55%
Crown Angle: 35.0°
Crown Height: 15.5%
Pavilion Angle: 40.8°
Pavilion Depth: 43.0%
Star length: 55%
Lower Half: 75%
Girdle: Medium to Slightly Thick, Faceted
Culet: None

Finish:
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: Medium Blue
Clarity Characteristics:
Crystal

Now it looks good on paper but i have a few questions
1. the GIA report says it has crystal. Whats does that mean?
2. is Fluorescence a bad thing?
3. Is this good value for money?

I have spent the weekend reading all sorts on this site, but i think i have confused myself more

thank you all in advance :)

Looks promising from the numbers. They should be able to get you an idealscope image when you call it in.

It has a crystal inclusion. A crystal within the diamond. Should not be visible at that size and clarity grade to the naked eye.

Fluor, nothing good or bad, just personal preference.
