its a gorgeous looking stone. I''d just double check on the where the feather is as it is SI1.

I tried my best to take a pic of the AGS report since I can''t upload it here.

Looks gorgeous on paper, but ditto on verifying the inclusions - you want to make sure the feather isn''t readily apparent to the naked eye. Of course, this is somewhat subjective, but if WF gives it the thumbs-up, I think you are likely to be OK.

Bump.

Anyone else have any thoughts??

Please? :)

Looks like a lovely diamond, no harm in checking out the cloud and the feather, just ask your WF rep.

Ditto Lorelei

bump again.

according to this AGS report, is the feather in the lower left hand corner and the cloud in the center???

That is a gorgeous stone! As long as whiteflash says it''s eyeclean and you are comfortable with the inclusion plot, go for it

I can''t tell, just ask your rep.

I spoke with WF. They said the feather is in the lower left hand corner and the cloud is in the center. the rest are crystals and needles.

We have the option to send the stone to a local appraiser. Do you think we should pursue this option?

My last stone was a VS1 and I''m nervous about an SI1. Can someone please talk me down from the ledge?

Help!

If its eye clean its a winner, what a gorgeous stone!

But do you all think it''s worth it to have the stone sent to a local appraiser?

Or do you think it''s safe to buy just from pics?

I''d feel comfy buying the stone just from the pics - bonus of a reputable vendor, if anything''s amiss it''ll be a mistake and they''ll fix it right away!

I would take the finished ring to an appraiser though, and make sure A) the diamond is the same, no mixups and B) the setting is well-finished and secure, no issues.

I would personally trust the opinion of WF but if you feel you would have greater peace of mind getting the stone appraised then go right ahead, WF encourage this and give you time to do so with their return policy.

Thanks for the advice everyone!!

I''m going to sleep on it and then decide. I''m still just so nervous about an SI1 compared to the VS1 I used to have.
