Opinions on this video, please

I'm considering this diamond and would love for input on the video. Unfortunately, ASET and IS are not available from this vendor. I used the PS search tool and the numbers look good (I think).

Depth: 61.9
Crown: 34.5
Pavilion: 41
Cut: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: None

I can't see that much contrast in the center, so I'm not sure if it's the setup or the diamond?

Looks kind of foggy under the table but I'm pretty sure its the photog setup.

I think it looks pretty good. I wish you could get an Aset but do think its worth seeing in person.

Those videos are not the best for assessing light performance - I consider them better for understanding faceting and clarity, which I guess is also their point... lol


If it is a stone you are definitely keen on, you can run the angles etc. through the HCA tool to see if it performs well - under 2 is the 'target' score, but up to mid-2s could also be a good performer, as I understand it.

I believe you get three? free goes on the HCA tool but that any additional goes are reasonably priced.
