I'm kinda just starting the hunt for my long-overdue ring. I never got one originally as we eloped, then life happened, then kids happened, etc. We're coming up on our 19th anniversary and with the cost of lab diamonds, I'm ready to take the plunge and get my sparkly pretty.

I've done some reading through the forums here (I used to be an active member back in like 2003ish) to try to bring myself up to date.

I know this stone isn't an 8x, but I do kinda like the numbers and the picture on it. Other than not being an 8x, its other strike is that it's a CVD stone. I do like the price, too. I see it listed on 3 websites currently, with prices ranging from $972-$1904 (Ritani, Clean Origin, and Frank Darling).

I agree with DejaWiz, it has leakage and striations.

It may seem odd, but I’m kinda set on either 1.17 or 1.29. Those numbers have special meaning to me, so thank you for unknowingly giving me another 1.29 to consider.

Mine did the same...check it a few times a day while logged in to your account on their website so you can be ready to pounce when/if the price fluctuates towards the lower end.

Thank you. About how often would you say their prices tend to bounce around? I was thinking it might have been a ‘Black Friday’ kind of deal, which ended since today’s 12/1.

Mine bounced around in price (about a $1200 shift) probably every 3-6 days for a month when I finally decided to buy it at a low bounce of the price.
You can always start a chat and ask if they'll re-reduce the price since you are ready to buy now.
