Any opinions on this diamond?

It is a 1.05ct I VS2, GIA cert (although I havent seen the cert yet so dont have any dimensions). I do know that it is XXX.

Price is around $9k, which I know is more than other US vendors, but this from a high-end jeweller in Australia. Also if I add in GST to any diamonds/jewellery that I import, then the difference becomes more acceptable.

TIA! :)

Are you sure it is GIA certed and not AGS? There is a table listed in your images that says AGS parameters. It looks
to be a nice stone but without numbers we cant help much. I would perfer to see an idealscope image over an aset.

The AGS Parameters are being generated by software, based on a 3D scan of the diamond. So are the images, which are digital simulations. There are a few programs that can be used with a 3D scan of the diamond to do this.

There are a couple of places that show in the scan as either painted or dug-out (at girdle, 11:30 to 1:00 on the ASET simulation). There is slight under-table contrast aberration (12:00 ASET), also seen at 2:00 and 3:00 in the arrows simulation, and the same tic may be responsible for the hearts distortion. I don't know whether these are precision issues or a scan problem; the trouble with trying to assess a simulated image is that every scanner has some built-in error.

For what it's worth, what's shown here is promising, even with the slight contrast deduction. Neither GIA nor AGS would penalize those things enough to knock it below the threshold for AGS 0 performance or GIA EX proportions.

While It would be more meaningful to have actual images I'd say the seller is giving you very cutting-edge info. Kudos.

Edited to add: I agree - It would be helpful to also see the primary numbers and/or GIA report.

Thanks very much for your expert opinion - very helpful! I didnt even realise that it was a simulated aset...

Yes, it is great that the vendor offers this type of analysis - VERY rare in Australia. Probably due to lack of consumer demand (=lack of knowledge).
