Opinions on this Radiant Diamond!

I saw it too! It is soooo stunning. Honestly, I didn't really know about Radiants until a month ago when my boyfriend and I started researching for engagement rings. I feel like I've been seeing the radiant growing in popularity recently!

A question: Will my "I" colored look better in the white gold diamond band or in a yellow gold solitaire? I've read articles with opposite information:
1) if it's I or lower, you want to go to yellow/rose gold
2) if it's any level of G-J, you still want to go with white gold/platinum because the yellow/rose gold will accentuate the yellowness.

I'm confused in which is the correct answer unless I'm understanding it differently.

If we were talking about round brilliants an I or even lower would be fine. In radiants and other fancy shapes, especially the elongated ones, the color tends to show more. Me personally thats ok because I like warm stones so my K radiant is fine for me but it wouldn't be for some people. Stick with a higher color if you think it would bother you.

Just as an example here is my I color round brilliant on white gold. I set the k radiant on rose gold to bring out the warmth in the stone.

The desire to be different from others and the previous generation could be a major contributor to the rise of fancies. I love fancy cut diamonds, especially a well cut radiant.

Try putting it next to tin foil or gold tone metallic twist ties once you received the diamond. They might help you to see it better. I say learn to read the rock before deciding on the setting if you have time.
