I have been looking for a 1.26-1.32 ratio cushion for a very long time, but have not found one that has been under $10,000, with the ratio I wanted, with nice faceting and that was larger than 7.3mm length for over a year. I just ended up ordering this diamond. I'm not exactly sure where to go or what to do, or if JA's photos and videos tend to be accurate. I call upon your expertise and know-how to direct me to where to buy a cushion if this doesn't work out.

Oh gosh, why didn't you ask before you ordered? That stone is not well cut at all. It has about the thickest girdle I have ever seen, meaning this stone faces up like a much smaller diamond. If you just ordered it, I highly recommend calling and cancelling it immediately. There aren't many well cut modern cushions, but I am pretty sure we can find you a better one than that.

Some other beauties that are 1.09 or more. J color is probably going to show the tint in a cushion. I'd recommend I color.

I am just not finding well cut cushions in the ratio you are looking for. I highly recommend adjusting the ratio expectations in favor of getting a well cut stone over a poorly cut one with the ratio you've been hoping for. If you really want that ratio, I'd recommend going with an oval.

I agree that it may be hard to find a cushion with the ratio I want, as I have been looking a while. If I do go with an oval, I would prefer the tips to be as rounded or coffin like as possible, instead of pointed. What do you think about this oval?

I like this one! My main concern with this one are the dark inclusions near the surface of the table. But you are on the right track with a nicely cut one!
