Have been looking at this diamond and I'm a little concerned about the feathers that seem to be around the edges. Diamond scores well at a 0.7 on the HCA but I don't know if these feathers could effect the structural integrity of the stone. Diamond newbie so help me out please! diamonds_0.jpg

Should be fine, since the feathers are not the grade setting inclusions, making it at worst a VS2 feather.

What does grade setting inclusions mean?

Means the most significant inclusions, thus giving the lowest grade possible for the stone. The inclusions are listed in order of significance, most significant first, under the inclusion map. Also, feathers will always be listed first if it and another type of inclusion is of the same significance, so the fact that it is listed 2nd means that it is not an SI1 feather.
