Opinions on these ring prices

Hi all-

I would like opinions on the following ring prices:

Both rings are Tiffany style platinum settings with round stones

1.16ct D VVS2 $18,900
1.27ct E VS1 $16,500

Sorry but I don''t have photos yet as I am still shopping.

Hi jbebop,

Without knowing all of the specs on the two diamonds (e.g. table, depth, crown & pavilion angles, etc.) it's hard to determine how well they are cut. These specs will give an idea as to how well the respective diamonds are cut - the quality of the cut will greatly affect the price. Are these diamonds certified? If so, I would suggest getting information from the certificates, and posting it here. That way, it will be easier to determine whether or not these rings are well priced.

If you do a quick search here ,you will see that you definitely get bigger and probably better stones. This will give you a quick guide as to what prices you should pay for those rings.
