Ritani offers free previews in my town.

Asking for opinions on these three items and what to look out for. And on a side note - was warned these diamonds may not 'exist' in real life. Has that ever happened to anyone?

Here are the selections -

The receiver orders value as size, color, clarity, cut, price :wall:

The buyer values cut, size, price, clarity, color.

This ring will be white gold with no additional diamonds.

Prices are net after tax and credit card discounts.

1) $5,275 = 1.5 K VS1 3X - perfect on paper but doesn't have a picture...
2) $6,000 = 1.4 J SI1 2X VG Symmetry - 1.6 Excellent HCA. There is a black spot I would need to cover thats about .4mm on the edge
3) $7,015 = 1.7 J SI2 2X VG Symmetry - 2.7 on HCA. Crown is 35.5 and Depth 63.1. It is an SI2 so there is a significant amount 'stuff' going on and looks like it could be clean(ish).

Apparently they only allow one diamond out of the corral at a time.

Picked the K Diamond. The 1.4 J could probably find replacement for and 1.7 had a lot of stuff in there.

Also noticed that it had an IGI inscription on the girdle per report.

Interestingly, its rated as J, VS1 with no fluorescence.

Looks like someone sent it out to GIA to have it regraded.

GIA gave it K, VS1, Faint.

Sounds like another shout out for going with GIA or AGS for a purchase.
