Hello everyone, I have been reading this forum for a while and still can't understand much when it comes to diamonds. Can the experts please help me with the following stones, which one is the best in your opinion. Also, if you think there are better ones out there than the choices I have posted, please let me know. Honestly, these are all very different stones, and a lot of the answer to that question will depend on what you are looking for, what your priorities are, and what your budget is like.

Can you give more information about what you would like to have, in an ideal world? That will help the experts here help you zero in on a beautiful stone that fits your requirements.

Thank you for the reply. I am partial to cushions in general but also have plenty of room in my heart for an asscher cut diamond. I''m aware the colors I have chosen are on the warm side and I''m okay with it (but may have a problem if the stone is too icky yellow). My budget is up to 15,000 (give or take depending on how nice the stone is). I just don''t know which of these has the best when it comes to everything in a diamond. DH knows enough about diamonds to get by but there is no way he can compete with the experts on this forum. I would also like for it to be set by Leon Mege (found out about him through this site, so thank you!). I am grateful for any help, thank you.

The pick of the bunch is the GOG cushion so to me it is an easy choice out of the diamonds you listed. The two IDjewelry cushions have no images which are essential in order to make an informed decision. Also just to mention an L colour is going to show some definite warmth, are you ok with that?

The Asscher is not well cut so I would pass on that one.

Out of the two I can see pictures of, I would pick the GOG cushion. That asscher is horrible IMO. I''d definitely pass on that one.

I think it depends on what you like.

The first have a modern cushion look that I really dislike, but you might prefer those sharper facets to chunkier ones.

That asscher, IMO, is rather icky.

If you like chunkier cushions, then the last GOG cushion is a no-brainer in comarison to the other three.

Ditto to the others - among the ones you posted, the GOG cushion is the winner.

To put some deeper thought into this though (and I think you should, because its a large purchase), go check out the GOG website and specifically their info on cushions - they have excellent videos of various styles of cushion (more old-fashioned vs. more modern, etc...) and these will really give you a sense of how each one performs and looks.

Once you have a better idea of what style you are looking for, I''d e-mail Jonathan with that info, plus your budget, ideal size, color, etc...and see what he can find for you. I know that sounds more arduous and involved than just clicking and buying right away, but I think you''ll be happier with the final product!

Thanks so much for all the replies, I appreciate all of them. Have decided to let go of the asscher, DH agreed that the cut/shape is off.
