Opinions on Tacori Settings for an AVR?

Hi CL2, I love those AVR, So pretty like a flower :)..Well you know my recent settings angst for mt AVC! So I think Ive pretty much spent waaay too much time researching all the Tacori's, my inspiration for my final non pave shank halo was this ladies FABulous OEC halo - she had it in a 2502 I think it is, totally rocks I think, lovely side profile.. Hope she doesnt mind me re-posting her photo;

So I say round halo with a plain shank but Im biased as thats just what I ordered :)

I love #2 (2638)! There aren't all that many vintage style solitaires without halos out there, but I really like this one.

Last one, I adore 2299 so beautiful , think would be great in gold like this...

Thanks diamondseeker2006 & purple silk for the suggestions and also to novicediamond - It's just so darn hard selecting a setting! Too many to choose from!!

Not a problem in posting my photo! This particular Tacori has a micro halo that is very subtle. My (and many) OEC's, has a thin girdle, so this particular setting has the advantage of protecting the girdle. :))

Kathley - your 2502 is stunning! I'm very tempted by this setting ... the halo would add some extra finger coverage, which would be nice to add on to my <1ct stone!

My current e-ring is a Flanders - so it's square-ish in shape, and I'm drawn to the 2584, because the fishtail type prongs help give it a square look. I suppose another alternative might be to look at a Tacori 2620 with a plain shank, because that has a more square shape too.

I'm also drawn to the 2584 because there is less that can go wrong with it. I don't live in the US, so if the ring ever needs repair, I'll have to pay import duty on the stone and the setting every time I re-import it! Unbelievable, but true!

I tried my Mum's 1ct WG RB on, and it just feels funny after wearing my YG Flanders for so long!

Why is it so hard to make a decision?!!
