Opinions on stone for upgrade

I have my eye on this stone and just want to get some opinions. It’s a WF ES. Here are the specs. I will attach pics in just a sec.

What is your current size? I cannot remember?

Are you able to view the stone in-person? I am sure the "strong blue" will help the J color, but I am sure experts will give better advice....

Thanks ladies. I do have it on hold. My only concern is the strong blue. I have never seen a diamond with strong blue........

That diamond looks incredible and I would think that the strong blue would be a benefit with a J colored stone.

I have a K/L with strong blue, and it is beautiful. WF has a good return policy if it happens to be one of the few that appears milky. (It is much more rare than people think that this happens.) I''m sure that they would tell you if it does if you ask, as they don''t want to bother sending out a stone that they know will come back, and I also guess that a milky one would not make it into their Expert Selection.

WF wouldn''t send out a diamond which displayed any negatives with strong blue - I 3rd snatching it up!

I am sure that WF would not have a stone that would have a negative effect from strong blue(oily or milky) espically in the ES!!!
I am just concerned that I will not like the effects of the fluoro. I have read it can be blueish/ purpleish in daylight. John has seen the stone and says it it beautiful, but as we all know it all comes down to what speaks to us individualy. So.....I guess I might just have to see it myself!

Lorelei....you were right...seeing is believing!!!

I was holding out just a bit but I had talked to John yesterday and decided to bite the bullet and have it sent to me. I didn''t say anything cause I was not sure I would be able to get it today with my crazy work schedule. I worked overnight last night got out at 8am and had to be back at 3pm. Well I decided seeing the diamond was much more important than sleeping so off to fedex I went!!

Of course I was up all morning looking at it. I didn''t go to bed until 11am I got up at 1:30pm...crazy...but

I THINK I AM IN LOVE!!!!

I am so surprised that this stone is a J!! I don''t know if it is the strong blue, the cut, the proportions, or my untrained eye but I can barely see any warmth!! And it sparkles like crazy! I took a few pics but didn''t have a chance to upload them yet but I will later tonight. I am not a very good photographer though so don''t get too excited. I have to say i like the faint power blue coloring that it gets in direct sunlight. It is a very neat effect.

I have an appointment with Cindy Konney on friday to do an appraisal then it''s back off to WF to be set in my old setting. I have decided to change to a 6 prong head. I like the stuller solstice (esp Mara''s). We will see if they can do that with my setting.

Oh, goody, a J with SB fl. I cannot wait to see the pics. So glad you decided to see it in person. We can all tell you it will be fine, but you need to know it will be fine.

So glad it kept you from sleeping in a good way.
