Last thread got off topic, and i have some more pictures that might help. I was thinking I wanted a portuguese cut, but am really nervous about having anything done now. As you can see from her facets she is a bit off kilter, and she has a weird inclusion that looks like a crystal I thought I could get taken out...

I''m in the don''t cut it camp too. By trying to take out the inclusion, you may end up with a baby sapphire. I can''t see the inclusion well from the pictures posted but based on its location, you could end up losing a LOT of size and weight and risk looking almost the whole stone. As recommended by a cutter in your other thread, a portugese cut is deep and your stone will still end up looking dark-ish.
