I''m still looking for a .40 - .50 H&A diamond. I''m just learning how to use the specialized tools, like Idealscope. I like the way this looks and it checks out on HCA at 1.0.
Am I going in the right direction?

Very nice image, you are definitely going in the right direction! Just a quick note with the HCA - it is used for rejection not selection, the aim is to score below 2 and images such as IS trump the HCA results anyway.

Thanks, everyone. This one really stands out of all I''ve seen. I''m not able to see these in person.

Yes, I like the edge to edge effect and the larger flashes of light that painted girdles offer. However, I am concerned that this "look" may not be the right diamond for the bezel setting that I want.

Here''s the third contender:

1.5 HCA

VS2
.42
61 Depth
56.7 table
41 pav angle
54.5 crown angle
55 star
81 lower girdle
girdle thin to med 1.0 - 3.0
