Opinions on Gcal 8x HPHT

Hey experts
I am planning to propose and I am kinda locked on HPHT GCAL 8x around 2c.
I found these 2 for example:

The arrows don’t look perfect IMO, what do you think?
2. https://www.gcalusa.com/c/332160032
In this one I think it’s a little bluish, am I wrong?

The proportions on both of them are looking good to me, and it’s Gcal 8x so I guess they will look awesome in person.
But I want another options

Take a look at the brilliance images at the GCAL links: we can see evidence of cut precision issues and resultant light leakage occuring, and it's quite obvious with the first diamond.
The second would be my choice between these two, to echo Kim N.

The second one is also not perfect by comparing to other diamonds I saw here in the forum.
I will try look for another piece if I will not find better one I will take the second one.

Hey @DejaWiz, could you point out what you’re seeing on the brilliance image of the first one? All I see is white, grey white and grey white white. And I don’t see much difference between the two. Asking out of pure curiosity and desire to learn.

I can see the issues in the symmetry images much easier.

Sure thing!
These spots are what I consider indications of light leakage, which could be a result of a bit of pavilion twist or similar issue.
