Ok so I recently bought this brooch (intricate enamel, red coral no authenticity testing done yet). Loooove it. Unique and cant seem to decide if Art Deco, Arts and Crafts or Nouveau. There is a diamond hallmark horribly degraded but i am dying to find out who made the piece. the diamond hallmark to me suggests french but just a guess.
Second, i have a nice white gold (585) blue flash moonstone festoon necklace with a hallmark no one can identify. I have been turned away by more than one antique appraiser because they dont know anything about either piece. I usually dont venture from colored stones on pricescope so hello everyone in Antique and Vintage!
I have attached brooch pics first and necklace hallmark pics second. made a rough drawing of the hallmark as i see thru the loupe. it is possible the 'C' shape under the 'f' had serpent heads at the ends, but too worn to be certain.
Thanks a ton!
